Lesson (1)
The last driving lesson is more than just a driving experience. I got so used to circuit that i 'memorized' the 'steps' to do at specific points (& it's always a left turn), and then out of the blue, my instructor just asked me to drive out to the main road. The experience was exciting i got to say...considering the heavy traffic and human crowd. While i was so confused trying to 'rem' the 'steps' i need to do while in the circuit...i realized i've got no time at all to think while out in the main road...coz' i cannot afford to be slow, take my time or commit mistakes...and when u r sort of being 'thrown' into such a situation...fear or not, you just got to do it..with a little courage. And WALA! You realized you can do better than you thought or expect or just simply do it. It's just like throwing you into the open sea...you can be fearful of water and do not know how to swim....but one day, if you happen to be caught in a situation where the only way you can stay alive is by kicking and staying afloat, you realized what a swimmer you can be.
When you have choices, you doubt if you can make it; when you have none, you know you got to make it and you will. -Courage-

This is called cognitive memory if i'm right... Sunbear pls comment. Same reason why soldiers drill and drill the same drills everyday so that when they need the skill it comes instinctively. Wah new driver on the way, *pat on the back*!
