Read something to ponder...
"The world we have made as a result of the level of thinking we have done thus far creates problems we cannot solve at the same level of thinking at which we created them"
- Albert Einstein
Finished my last paper, which ends my 4-year Uni life today..say im crazy, but i feel a sense of sadness overwhelming me when the exam ended. This year's exam, dint end with a party or celebration. It ended quietly. As i bumped into a few friends while walking ard in sch, some past year project mates and people i knew from going on trips...as much as we are not even consider friends, i feel like kinda she3 bu4 de2, and wished that i had spent more time building the friendship.
I started my nostalgic journey of the school once i stepped out of the exam hall. Memories are everywhere and yup, they will always be with me. Went co-op too. Saw crowds of people browsing and discussing excitedly about the commencement gown and some already trying it. I looked at the gown, and thought to myself, i've gained more than just a gown to be excited about. Perhaps im happy or even proud of myself to have survived the tough 4 years...along the way, so much we wanted to quickly finish studying and get out...however, when the day comes, you wished your school days were longer. It dint turn out as exciting as i thought i will be..the commencement. And i dint turn out as strong as i thought i am..Perhaps i dont wanna move on yet..perhaps still holding on to d great comforts and joy of being a student.
To complete the whole nostalgic journey, i made a trip down to orchard from school. Something i always do during sch terms..and town is not all that attractive at all. Guess its the feeling of gg out to have fun instead of having lessons or mugging for tests at that time that makes town so fun. The act, not the place.=P naughty student..haa...and the feeling is...really....lost. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide....nothing much to look forward to....suddenly i feel my life's a blank. And yet, the world is still turning...things are still happening around mi...n impt pple in my life are moving on, moving forward....
It's like all of a sudden, you lost everything...(ok, exaggerating..haa)
Withdrawal symdromes of a graduating student......but i hope, everyone who is graduating are doing fine, moving on and are being positive. Jiayou!
May this weak and lost dreamer stand up soon...and start her own journey once again....
